One of my favorite couples in the limelight is definitely Ice-T and Coco, but in the beginning of their reality show I didn’t feel any kind of way about them. I was curious what the deal was with them so as I watched their story unfold of daily dos and don’ts in the marriage it made me see why they were so good together to begin with.

Here’s the just of it. He lives for her, she lives for him. He makes sure she’s always happy, She makes sure he’s always happy. They have each otter’s back through everything, and to top it off are so in love with each other there is nothing that can get in the way of what they have, including the cameras.

I like the concepts for Dee-1′s videos, here’s a new one for Writers Block, that the team dropped today.

We did our annual Dilla Dedication show, sounds provided by Dj Fresh 85 from 1-3, and Dj M2 from 3-4 am.

In case you’ve been under a rock and haven’t had a chance to listen to Adele’s newest album 21, I’m here to tell you that it is one of the greatest albums of our generation and you need it in your life.

Adele just recently turned the Grammy’s into an Adelation by sweeping all 6 categories she was nominated in for this year, and also had quite the comeback performance after losing her voice a couple of months ago. When she was going through that reconstructive period for her voice, there was chatter that she might not be able to come back and perform the same way. But to the surprise to some of her critics, she came, she sang, she cleaned house.

This shoot that she did with Vogue for this month’s issue completely captures the timeless chic of Adele who has always been such a beautiful woman to her listeners- but it seems as though she has a new peak of confidence in these photos and i saw a little bit of pep in her step as she walked the red carpet at the Grammy’s.

As for the ex that inspired her 21 album? She is giving him his credit as she sees fit in this lighthearted interview with Vogue Magazine.

On the Man Who Inspired the album 21
“You know, he was amazing. He was great. But it was never going to work. And for ages I was like, As if he deserves any f-cking kudos for inspiring my record. But now, after some time, it only seems right that the person who so far has had the biggest impact on me—has now changed my life for f-cking ever with this album—deserves a little credit. I can do things that I never dreamed I’d be able to do. If I hadn’t met him, I think I’d still be that little girl I was when I was eighteen. And the best thing is, I now know what I want for myself and from someone else. I didn’t know what I wanted before.”

On how losing her voice helped change her life
It was so fast-paced, I could hardly ever even remember the bulk of my day. I think I just needed to be silenced. And when you are silent, everyone else around you is silent. So the noise in my life just stopped. It was like I was floating in the sea for three weeks. It was brilliant. It was my body telling me to fix me. I had so much time to kind of go over things and get over things, which is amazing. I think if I hadn’t had my voice trouble, I would never have broached those subjects with myself. Now I just feel really at peace. And really proud of myself. I’ve never fully appreciated the things that I’ve achieved until now. In fact, my entire life has changed in the last ten weeks. I’ve never been so happy, and I love it.

On not having the desire to become an actress
I did my acting debut on Ugly Betty, and I cannot watch it. I play myself, but I was so sort of uncomfortable that I sound like an American putting on an English accent. I am the worst actress of all time. I’m like a f-cking cardboard box! I’m awful. No, I have absolutely no intention of going into acting or making perfumes. I am a singer. I will stick to what I am good at and not spread myself thin and become mediocre at everything I do.

On having a long-lasting singing career
I’m in it for the long run. I don’t want to be disposable. You’re only as good as your next record. I’m not scared of losing this. I won’t come out with new music until it’s better than 21. I’m not expecting to sell as many records, but I don’t want to release shit. Also, I have nothing to write about! I’d be lying. And that would go against everything I’ve ended up building for myself. So, yeah, I will need at least three years to write a record.

On if it’ll take a brave man to date her
Come on! I’m wifey material! I’m great. No one’s got to be brave. It’s not like, ‘You f**k me over and I’m going to write a record and make you the most hated man in the world.’ I am never writing a breakup record again, by the way. I’m done with being a bitter witch”

This gave me the chills. Ashanti stopped by Good Morning America today and paid tribute to Whitney Houston by singing “I Have Nothing”.

I still can’t believe this is real.

For REAL? So this debate has been ongoing throughout the twitter verse for the past 2 weeks as to who was going to make this list.

MTV has gotten together a few great hip-hop enthusiasts and professionals in the hip-hop world to debate as to who the top 10 hottest emcees in the game are, and starting off at number 10 is Wale.

The comparison between J. Cole and Wale comes into play and J. Cole was also in the 10 spot along with T.I.- but with votes being layed out by the roundtable, he was axed off the list. Some of the arguments are listed below-

“I feel like Wale has been on the journey of a lifetime. I hope that everyone knows that He’s dropped 7 mixtapes to this point.”

Here’s my argument about Wale being in the top 10, yes he may have dropped 7 different mix tapes in the past oh so many years, but how many of them were memorable and of classic material? Not saying he didn’t have any, he did but Cole put out 2 classic mix tapes during his growth period which still gets played on the regular.
Was he nominated for a grammy for his Ambition album? How many of those billboard hits did he do on his own compared to J.Cole? Did he sell over 217,000 albums in the first WEEK of his album releasing? (164,000)

Has this round table even listened to Wale’s Beautiful Bliss in which J.Cole is just featured on?

Safe to say, I don’t think that Wale should be on this top 10 list for obvious reasons. I like an emcee that can rise on his own 2 feet before he gets thrown into the praising of “Best”. J. Cole is the Hotter MC PERIOD. No implications that Wale shouldn’t be on a list of maybe top 15 but better than Jermaine? Nah b. LOL….Dah well. Kid can’t win them all but he sure can make your track his with a guest verse.

That’s just my 2 stinkin lincolns though.
